United Way of Susquehanna County’s Mission: To mobilize human and financial resources for improving the quality of life for Susquehanna County residents by linking partnering agencies, donor and volunteers.
* The United Way of Susquehanna County (UWSC) transitioned from the Susquehanna County Charities and Distribution Fund to UWSC in 2003. UWSC is an affiliate of United Way of Wyoming Valley.
* UWSC is committed to ensuring that needed services are provided to residents of Susquehanna County.
* UWSC’s Allocation Committee annually reviews applications and appropriates funds to local not-for-profit service agencies who address the needs and improve the quality of life for Susquehanna County residents.
* UWSC relies on the generosity of corporations, businesses, residents, and volunteers of the county in generating the needed funds to support partner agencies who provide vital service and programs serving our community.
